APK Installation Guide

If you are new to installing APK files on Android or have run into trouble getting Car Parking Multiplayer to install correctly, this guide is for you. We have broken everything down into simple, easy-to-follow steps so that anyone — regardless of technical experience — can get the game up and running without frustration.

Important Notice: This guide is provided for informational purposes only. Installing APK files — especially modified versions — carries certain risks. Please read our Disclaimer before proceeding. We always recommend downloading the official version of Car Parking Multiplayer from the Google Play Store whenever possible.

Before we dive into the steps, here is a quick explanation for those who are new to this.

APK stands for Android Package Kit. It is the file format Android uses to install applications — similar to how Windows uses .exe files. When you download an app directly from the Google Play Store, an APK is being installed behind the scenes automatically. When you install an APK manually from outside the Play Store, the process requires a couple of extra steps.

This manual installation process is commonly referred to as sideloading.

Before starting, make sure you have the following ready:

  • An Android smartphone or tablet running Android 5.0 or higher
  • The APK file downloaded to your device
  • Sufficient storage space (at least 500MB free is recommended)
  • A stable internet connection (if the APK requires online features)
  • OBB data file (only required for certain versions — explained in Part 2)

Follow these steps to install a standard Car Parking Multiplayer APK file on your Android device.

By default, Android blocks the installation of apps from outside the Google Play Store. You will need to allow this before proceeding.

The exact steps vary slightly depending on your Android version:

For Android 8.0 and above (most modern devices):

  1. Go to your device Settings
  2. Tap Apps or Applications
  3. Find and tap your File Manager or Browser app (whichever you will use to open the APK)
  4. Tap Install Unknown Apps or Install from Unknown Sources
  5. Toggle it ON

For Android 7.0 and below:

  1. Go to Settings
  2. Tap Security or Privacy
  3. Find Unknown Sources and toggle it ON
  4. Tap OK on the warning prompt that appears

💡 Tip: Once the APK is installed, it is good practice to go back and disable this setting again for security purposes.

Navigate to the relevant download page on this website and tap the download button for your desired version. The APK file will be saved to your device’s Downloads folder by default.

Make sure you are downloading the correct version for your device and Android version. Check the version details listed on each page before downloading.

Once the download is complete:

  1. Open your device’s File Manager app
  2. Navigate to the Downloads folder
  3. Look for a file ending in .apk — for example, CarParkingMultiplayer_v4.8.apk

Alternatively, you may see a download notification in your notification bar — tap it to open the file directly.

  1. Tap on the APK file to begin installation
  2. A prompt will appear asking you to confirm — tap Install
  3. Wait for the installation progress bar to complete
  4. Once finished, tap Done to close the installer or Open to launch the game immediately

🎉 That’s it! Car Parking Multiplayer should now be installed on your device.

Find the Car Parking Multiplayer icon in your app drawer or home screen and tap it to start playing. On first launch, the game may download additional data — make sure you are connected to Wi-Fi for this step.

Some versions of Car Parking Multiplayer — particularly older versions or certain mod builds — come with a separate OBB data file in addition to the APK. This is a large data package that the game needs to function properly.

If your download includes both an APK file and an OBB file or folder, follow these additional steps.

An OBB (Opaque Binary Blob) file is a large data package used by Android games to store high-quality assets like graphics, sounds, and maps. It is kept separate from the APK to keep the initial install size manageable.

Follow Steps 1 through 4 from Part 1 above to install the APK file. Do not open the game yet after installation.

  1. Open your File Manager
  2. Navigate to your device’s Internal Storage
  3. Look for a folder named Android
  4. Inside it, open the OBB folder
  5. If a folder named carparkingmultipalyer already exists, open it. If not, create a new folder with exactly that name.

(The exact folder name may vary slightly depending on the game version. Always check the instructions provided on the specific download page.)

  1. Go back to your Downloads folder
  2. Find the OBB file — it will typically end in .obb or come as a .zip that needs to be extracted first
  3. If it is a zip file, extract it first using your File Manager or a free app like ZArchiver
  4. Copy or move the extracted OBB file into the folder you located or created in Step 2

Now open Car Parking Multiplayer from your app drawer. The game should load correctly with all assets in place.

💡 If the game shows a black screen, crashes on launch, or asks you to download data again, double-check that the OBB file is in exactly the right folder path.

Want to play Car Parking Multiplayer on your Windows PC or Mac? You can do this using an Android emulator. Here is a quick overview:

  1. Download and install your preferred Android emulator from its official website
  2. Open the emulator and complete the initial Android setup
  3. Drag and drop the Car Parking Multiplayer APK file directly into the emulator window, or use the emulator’s built-in APK installer option
  4. Wait for the installation to complete within the emulator
  5. Launch the game from the emulator’s app drawer

Running into issues? Here are the most common problems and how to fix them:

Possible causes and fixes:

  • An older or conflicting version of the game is already installed → Uninstall the existing version first, then try again
  • The APK file is corrupted or incomplete → Delete it and re-download from the source
  • Not enough storage space → Free up space and try again
  • The APK is not compatible with your Android version → Check the version requirements and download a compatible build

Possible causes and fixes:

  • Missing OBB data file → Follow Part 2 of this guide to install the OBB correctly
  • OBB file is in the wrong folder → Double-check the folder path as described in Part 2
  • Device does not meet minimum hardware requirements → Try an older, lighter version of the game

Possible causes and fixes:

  • The APK file did not download completely → Re-download the file
  • Your Android version is too old or too new for this APK → Try a different version
  • The file was corrupted during download → Try a different browser or download manager

Possible causes and fixes:

  • OBB file is missing or incorrectly placed → Review Part 2 carefully
  • Insufficient RAM available → Close background apps and try again
  • Graphics driver issue on emulator → Update your emulator to the latest version
  • On newer Android versions this setting is per-app rather than global → Go to Settings → Apps → [Your Browser or File Manager] → Install Unknown Apps and enable it there

Before we wrap up, here are a few things worth keeping in mind whenever you install APK files:

  • 🔒 Enable Google Play Protect — Go to the Play Store, tap your profile icon, and make sure Play Protect is turned on. It scans apps for harmful behavior.
  • 🛡️ Only download from sources you trust — Be cautious of random websites offering APK files with no clear information about their origin.
  • 📋 Check app permissions — Before tapping Install, review what permissions the app is requesting. A car parking game should not need access to your contacts or messages.
  • 🔄 Keep a backup — If you are replacing an existing installation, back up your game data first if the game supports cloud saves or local backup.
  • ⚠️ Mod APKs carry additional risk — Modified versions of the game are not official releases. Use them with an understanding of the risks involved. See our Disclaimer for full details.
